BioEM2019 – Call for abstract
The Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS) and the European BioElectromagnetics Association (EBEA) glad to announce that BioEM 2019, the premier international conference on bioelectromagnetics and the annual joint meeting will be held in Montpellier, France on June 23-29.
The meeting aims to presenting and advancing high quality research in bioelectromagnetics to address the mechanisms, effects, regulations and medical applications.
We invite abstracts for platform presentations and poster sessions.

We are happy to announce that the ballot on the “BEMS/EBEA – Merger Vote” is NOW OPEN!
You should have received an email on the June 25th from POLYAS GmBH with your credentials and instructions to vote. In case you have not received such a message, please check it is not in your spam folder or blocked by your institution. If this is not the case and you think you are eligible to vote, please send a message to the secretary of your society (secretary@bems.org or secretary@ebea.org) and we will check your eligibility and organize for you to receive the ballot.
Eligible members are full members and student members who paid their membership in 2017 and/or 2018.
You will find official documents from EBEA/BEMS merging committee and related documents here.
It is of most importance for the future of our society that you participate and cast your vote prior to the closing of the ballot on July 23, 2018.

Bor Kos is the winner of the 2018 Alessandro Chiabrera award
BioEM 2018 Student Support
BioEM2018 will offer support to students by waiving the registration fee. This support is intended to partially offset participation costs to attend the conference. Request for student support will be accepted untill March 9, 2018. To be eligible for support, the student must be a first author, present their paper at the meeting and be a member of either BEMS or EBEA. Call for the Chiabrera Award Edition 2018
We open the call for the third edition (year 2018) of the Alessandro Chiabrera Award for Excellence in Bioelectromagnetics, addressed to early stage researchers.
Nominations must be sent to president@ebea.org before February 15, 2018.
