Call for paper for the workshop “Biomedical Applications of EMF”
2nd international Conference on Advances in Magnetics  (AIM2018), February 4-7 2018

Chairs:

Paolo Ravazzani (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Institute of Electronics, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering IEIIT CNR, Italy)

Oriano Bottauscio (Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica, Torino, Italy)

Deadline: September 29th, 2017

The IEEE Italy section is planning to organize the 2nd international Conference on Advances in Magnetics  (AIM2018). The Conference will be held in La Thuile, Italy , from February 4 to February 7, 2018. For information about the Conference see http://www.aim2018.it.

In the framework of this Conference, we were asked to organize a Session devoted to Magnetic Biomedical Applications, contacting people willing to present their studies. For this reason we are contacting you in order to check your potential interest in the event (or the interest of a colleagues of your group) and your availability in submitting one or more contributions.

We think this could be an interesting opportunity for members of EBEA, considering the increasing interest of our community on EMF and medicine.
A list of potential (non exhaustive) session topics is reported below.

The AIM Conference will be an interdisciplinary forum for presentation and discussion of the most recent advances in all fields of Magnetics: theory, numerical modeling, experiments and applications. The event will be open to experts and scientists with different backgrounds (engineers, physicists, mathematicians, material scientists, chemists, biologists, etc) to present, discuss, exchange ideas, methods and results.

Authors (including those ones of our Special Session will be requested to submit preliminary short papers outlining the relevance and the originality of their works and to present their research work at the Conference by oral or poster presentations. All contributors will be invited to submit full papers for possible publication in a IEEE journal, after peer reviewing process.
